Stryker Faces Yet Another Suit Over Pain Pump

Law360, New York (June 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Medical technology company Stryker Corp. has been hit with another product liability suit claiming its pump used for pain management following joint surgery causes a degenerative condition called chondrolysis.

The most recent complaint, filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona by a young shoulder surgery patient named Tyler Benson, is at least the fourth filed this year against Stryker alleging similar claims.
