Owens Corning Files Fifth Amended Plan

Law360, New York (March 31, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- Mapping out how it will compensate creditors and asbestos personal-injury victims, Owens Corning has filed a fifth amended version of its Chapter 11 reorganization plan.

The Ohio-based fiberglass manufacturer is offering that lenders be paid post-petition interest and fees on loans made to the company before it filed for bankruptcy protection in 2000, according to details released in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Wednesday.
