Law360, New York (December 23, 2014, 1:21 PM EST) -- Joyce Kao Soliman is the chairwoman of the Porter Hedges LLP property and finance practice group, leads the firm’s Women’s Initiative, and is a member of the diversity committee. She is also the current chairwoman of the board of directors and former president for the Asian-American Bar Association of Houston and is a trustee for the Asian-American Bar Foundation. Soliman represents commercial banks, private equity sponsors and other lenders in corporate finance transactions, including secured and unsecured commercial loans, asset-based financings, syndicated credit facilities, letters of credit and acquisition financings. In April 2014, Law360 named her a Female Powerbroker.
