Toolmaker Sues Over Utility Knife Patents

Law360 (June 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Toolmaker Irwin Industrial Tool Co. has filed suit against the Gibbs Group LLC, a management and operations consulting firm, claiming the company infringed two utility knife patents.

In a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina, Irwin claimed utility knives sold by Gibbs under the name “Good Knife Irene” infringe two patents held by Irwin.
