W.R. Grace Judge Rebuffs ZAI Claimants

Law360, New York (June 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The federal judge presiding over W.R. Grace & Co.'s Chapter 11 case has rejected the attempt of a group of asbestos claimants to lift the bankruptcy stay, allowing the beleaguered mining company to continue moving toward an exit.

Judge Judith Fitzgerald of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware denied the expedited motion of the Zonolite Attic Insulation claimants without prejudice Tuesday, dashing the group's hope of returning its claims to the tort system.
