FDA Broadens Unsafe OTC Drug List

Law360, New York (June 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As part of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's ongoing review of over-the-counter drugs, the agency has issued a proposed rule adding certain ingredients and categories to the list of products that are not generally recognized as safe and effective or are misbranded in the absence of an approved new drug application.
