Truck Transportation Co. JHT Files For Ch. 11

Law360, New York (June 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- JHT Holdings Inc., a company that transports large diesel trucks to dealers from manufacturers including Ford Motor Co., General Motors Co. and Mack Trucks Inc., filed for Chapter 11 protection Tuesday, citing a drop in demand for the vehicles as the root of its financial troubles.

The Kenosha, Wis.-based company, founded in 1933, listed assets and debts of $100 to $500 million in its petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. The company and its 16 affiliates all filed for Chapter 11 protection...
