Foley Taps Partner Sharon Barner To Head IP Department

Law360, New York (April 7, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Foley & Lardner LLP has tapped partner Sharon Barner to lead its rapidly expanding intellectual property department, promoting her from her former post as head of the firm's IP litigation practice group.

In her new position, Barner will be tasked with developing and implementing business strategies for the firm’s 160-attorney group. In addition, Barner will work on enhancing the department’s biotechnology, nanotechnology and IP litigation practices, as well as maintain the growth of Foley’s trademark, copyright and high-tech groups.
