Law360, New York (June 26, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intellectual property attorneys accustomed to patent and trademark cases are increasingly finding themselves involved in entirely different court battles: consumer class actions, said Kenneth A. Plevan, the co-head of Skadden's intellectual property and technology group.

Several major companies have recently found themselves accused of misleading consumers. The suits are lucrative for both consumers and the plaintiffs bar, Plevan said.
