Energy Drink Co. Dumps Monster Trademark Dispute

Law360, New York (December 16, 2014, 7:45 PM EST) -- A Minnesota federal judge on Tuesday granted beverage company Victory Energy LLC's request to dismiss its suit against Monster Energy Co. seeking a declaratory judgment that its 16-ounce cans of Victory Energize don't infringe Monster's trademarks or trade dress, after the parties said they had reached a settlement.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Jeremiah C. Lynch granted the voluntary motion to dismiss with prejudice and ordered that both sides be required to bear their own costs and fees.
