Eli Lilly, Princeton Lodge 2nd Suit Over Chemo Drug

Law360 (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Eli Lilly & Co. and the trustees of Princeton University have filed a lawsuit aimed at keeping APP Pharmaceuticals LLC from the $448 million annual U.S. market for chemotherapy drug Alimta, marking the second suit Lilly and Princeton have filed over Alimta this month.

Eli Lilly and Princeton brought the suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on Wednesday, naming Schaumburg, Ill.-based APP as the sole defendant.
