Judge Strips Claims From Wage Suit Against Insurer

Law360 (June 27, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Health insurer Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota has won a bid to quash the majority of claims in a wage-and-hour dispute with former employees.

In an order handed down Wednesday, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota partially granted Blue Cross' motion to dismiss numerous counts, ruling them inadequately pled. Surviving the order were the employees' claims of federal overtime breaches and unjust enrichment.
