Former Dewey GC Grabs Gig As Partner With Hinshaw In NY

Law360, New York (January 5, 2015, 3:28 PM EST) -- The former general counsel of Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP who chose to stay on post-apocalypse as an adviser to the bankrupt firm’s trust has now joined Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP as a partner in New York counseling clients on ethics in the legal profession, the firm announced Monday.

On Jan. 1, Janis M. Meyer became a partner in Hinshaw’s Lawyers for the Profession practice group where she will advise lawyers and law firms, focusing on professional responsibility, legal ethics, risk management, human resources and insurance.
