Governor Files Amicus Brief In DuPont Appeal

Law360, New York (July 3, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The governor of West Virginia has stepped in on the side of chemical maker E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., asking the West Virginia Supreme Court to ensure that the company is granted appropriate review in its appeal of a $196 million punitive damages award in a toxic tort lawsuit.
