Morgan Stanley Banker Arrested For Insider Trading

Law360, New York (July 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Morgan Stanley investment banker was arrested in Hong Kong on Friday and charged with insider trading in connection with a billion-dollar oil deal.

Du Jun, a former managing director at Morgan Stanley Asia Ltd., was charged with nine counts of insider dealing and one count of counseling or procuring another person to deal in the shares of a listed company prior to the announcement of an acquisition deal in connection with an oil deal, according to a statement from Hong Kong's Securities and Futures...
