Intel Seeks To Sack Various AMD Claims

Law360 (April 20, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though the landmark Intel-AMD antitrust case is still in its early stages, microchip maker Intel Corp. has revealed that it will ask the court to strike the non-U.S. activities contained in the lawsuit brought by its primary rival, Advanced Micro Devices Inc.

Lawyers for Intel disclosed the company’s intention to file a subject jurisdiction matter motion on Thursday, arguing that the alleged international activities are a “huge area of the complaint that should be dismissed.”
