LendingTree Exec Indicted On Insider Trading Charges

Law360, New York (April 25, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following a long line of LendingTree Inc. employees, a senior vice president of the financial services company has been indicted on federal charges of insider trading connected to USA Interactive’s acquisition of the company in 2003.

David N. Anderson, the sixth person indicted in the ongoing inquiry into insider trading at LendingTree, is accused of revealing information about the negotiations between the company and USA Interactive that aided co-workers in making thousands of dollars in improper gains.
