Judge Corks Water Bottler's Trademark Claims

Law360, New York (July 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A district judge has granted Fiji Water Co.'s motion for summary judgment in a trademark suit brought by the producers of Crystal Geyser spring water over the use of the phrase "bottled at the source."

CG Roxane LLC, producer of Crystal Geyser spring water, holds a registered trademark for the phrase that both companies use on their bottles and sued Fiji in 2007 for trademark infringement.
