Fla. Ambulance Co., Hospitals Accused Of Bilking Medicare

By Daniel Wilson (March 11, 2015, 5:16 PM EDT) -- A Jacksonville, Florida-area ambulance company bilked Medicare and Medicaid out of $5 million by submitting claims for ambulance services that were either unnecessary or overblown, with the aid of a quartet of local hospitals, according to a whistleblower False Claims Act complaint filed Wednesday in federal court.
