N.H. Nullifies New Overtime Wage Law

Law360, New York (July 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Having recently adopted a law to change overtime compensation requirements for delivery drivers, state lawmakers in New Hampshire have enacted another law that renders the first one moot even before its effective date.

The new law, HB 1242, limits its predecessor, HB 399, a law that would have deemed delivery drivers and sales merchandisers eligible to receive overtime pay and also would have changed the formula used to calculate overtime pay for all employees paid on a base salary and commission basis.
