IP Boutiques Shrink Amid Litigation Slowdown

By Ryan Davis (March 15, 2015, 9:09 PM EDT) -- With some types of intellectual property litigation slowing down, four major IP boutiques responded in the past year by reducing their attorney head counts by between 9 and 20 percent, according to figures compiled by Law360.

Kenyon & Kenyon LLP, Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner LLP, Fitzpatrick Cella Harper & Scinto and Brinks Gilson & Lione each reduced their ranks by 25 or more attorneys over the last year. Of the four, Kenyon & Kenyon saw the biggest drop, with 32 fewer attorneys, or 20 percent of its head count.
