Diverse Law Firms Will Get Bonuses From Microsoft

Law360, New York (July 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. will begin awarding bonuses to both its in-house lawyers and its outside counsel for enhancing diversity in the legal profession.

The initiative, known as the Law Firm Diversity Program, was announced Monday. It applies to the 17 “premier preferred provider” law firms that handle more than $150 million of legal work for the company each year.
