Legal, IT Groups Collaborate On E-Discovery: Survey

Law360, New York (July 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Legal and information technology departments appear to be working more closely with one another, according to a survey on electronic discovery practices at Fortune 500 corporations.

The telephone survey, conducted earlier this year by Ari Kaplan Advisors and funded by Fios Inc., revealed how legal professionals from Fortune 500 firms are handling data management issues, preparing for litigation and addressing other e-discovery matters.
