Akerman-WolfBlock Merger Vote Coming Soon

Law360, New York (July 21, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Partners are reportedly expected to vote soon on a proposed merger between Akerman Senterfitt and Philadelphia-based WolfBlock LLP, now that the proposal has received approval from the executive committees at both firms.

If approved, the merger would create an 800-member firm combining WolfBlock's territory throughout the Northeast with Akerman's strong presence in Florida and a handful of other offices across the country, including Washington, D.C., New York and Los Angeles, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.
