USPTO Asks Fed. Circ. To Reverse Ruling In Tafas Case

Law360 (July 22, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has filed a brief with a federal appeals court, seeking to reverse a lower court's decision to void a set of sharply contested new rules pushed by the agency as a necessary tool to streamline its processes and clear a growing backlog of paperwork.
