Allstate Wins Appeal Over Policy's Notice Of Fee Schedule

Law360, Miami (March 18, 2015, 9:00 PM EDT) -- A Florida appeals court on Wednesday backed an Allstate Insurance Co. policy that a Tallahassee MRI center said failed to properly notify insured parties that it would limit personal injury reimbursements by using Medicare fee schedules.

In an opinion issued in 14 consolidated appeals, Florida's First District Court of Appeal reversed a lower court decision that sided with Stand-Up MRI of Tallahassee PA in a dispute over personal injury protection coverage reimbursements made by Allstate.
