Honeywell To Pay $3M In Air Quality Settlement

Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Honeywell Aerospace, a manufacturer of products and services for the aerospace industry, has agreed to pay over $3 million to Arizona's Maricopa County to settle alleged air quality violations at eight of its Phoenix-area facilities.

The July 17 settlement, which includes a $756,000 fine and an agreement to conduct environmental-improvement projects within the county worth at least $2.8 million, is the largest air quality settlement reached by the county's air quality department, the Maricopa County Attorney's Office said.
