Hancock Fabrics Reorganization Plan Confirmed

Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Hancock Fabrics Inc. is on its way out of Chapter 11 protection now that a judge has approved the company's reorganization plan.

Judge Brendan Shannon of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware signed off on the plan Tuesday following a confirmation hearing. Hancock Fabrics filed the plan with the court in June.

A representative for the company could not immediately be reached for comment on the approval.
