Some Claims Tossed In Faulty HVAC Valve Dispute

Law360, New York (July 23, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge has dismissed three counts of an air conditioning installer's $12 million complaint alleging that the Milwaukee Valve Co. Inc.'s products were improperly designed.

Judge Ellen Huvelle of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia on Friday partially granted Milwaukee Valve's motion to toss Quality Air Services LLC's complaint over valves that are used in high-rise residential buildings to regulate hot and cold water systems.

The judge ruled that there was no support for the plaintiff's declaratory judgment claim.
