Honeywell Sues Ex-Employees Over Trade Secrets

Law360 (July 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Honeywell International Inc. has filed a lawsuit against two former employees and their new employer, alleging that they shared Honeywell's trade secrets with Akebono Brake Industry Co. Ltd. and patented a process for making brake pad materials that belonged to Honeywell.

The suit was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and names Akebono's Japanese headquarters, its North American subsidiary and the two former employees, Sunil Kesavan and Xinming Shao, as defendants.
