Bombshell Engle Rulings Leave Big Tobacco Facing Retrials

Law360, Miami (April 2, 2015, 8:09 PM EDT) -- The Florida Supreme Court's rulings Thursday making it easier for Engle progeny plaintiffs to prove fraud claims against tobacco companies will lead to retrials of several cases in two of the state's largest circuits, and could allow plaintiffs who score high-dollar damage awards to hang on to their winnings after trial.
