BA Execs To Face Price-Fixing Charges: Report

Law360, New York (July 28, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Four former and current British Airways Plc executives are headed for bumpy skies, with the United Kingdom's competition watchdog reportedly set to slap them with price-fixing charges over an alleged conspiracy with Virgin Atlantic Airways Ltd. to coordinate fuel surcharges on long-haul flights.

Britain's Office of Fair Trading has decided to charge the four men over a cartel between 2004 and 2006 to fix the price of passenger fuel surcharges on trans-Atlantic flights, the Financial Times reported on its Web site Friday without citing sources....
