EPA To Staff: Don't Talk

Law360, New York (July 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A Washington, D.C., watchdog group this week leaked a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency e-mail advising staff not to speak to the media or even EPA's Inspector General, prompting an outcry from a U.S. senator who has been sparring with the agency.

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and three other senators called for EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson's resignation Tuesday, charging him with secrecy and doing the Bush administration's bidding.
