D.C. Circ. Rules Against FERC In Settlement Dispute

Law360 (July 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- An appeals court has ruled that an order from the U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission requiring Dominion Transmission Inc. to file more information related to a settlement concerning fuel pricing is invalid.

A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit said in a decision Friday that FERC was wrong in its treatment of Dominion Transmission, which provides natural gas transportation and storage services in six Midwest and Mid-Atlantic states.
