Intel To Court: What Happens Abroad, Stays Abroad

Law360 (May 4, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Intel Corp. filed a motion to dismiss allegations of overseas misconduct in the antitrust case brought by Advanced Micro Devices Inc., in a move that an AMD executive characterized as an attempt to evade responsibility for illegal conduct and stifle competition.

In practical terms, Intel’s motion seeks to have the court ignore claims of anti-competitive behavior that occurred outside U.S. borders.
