Law360, New York (July 31, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- With Congress in a summertime brawl over funding renewable energy, Assistant Secretary Alexander "Andy" Karsner of the U.S. Department of Energy's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy office said in a statement Wednesday he'll be leaving his post in August after nearly two years.
The statement did not say why Karsner tendered his resignation or where he was headed and a call to the DOE on Thursday wasn't immediately returned.
