Fed. Circ. Tosses Microsoft's $8M Award In Patent Suit

Law360, New York (August 1, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has reversed summary judgment in a patent infringement suit against Microsoft Corp. over gray-scale image technology, ejected the district judge from the case and vacated the $8.6 million in attorneys' fees that Research Corporation Technologies Inc. had been ordered to pay Microsoft.
