Microsoft Takes Primax Patent Spat To Court

Law360, New York (August 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a two-pronged battle to stop a Taiwanese rival from allegedly infringing on several electronics patents, Microsoft Corp. has filed a lawsuit asking a federal judge to award past damages and enjoin Primax Electronics Ltd. from further infringement, days after it petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission to ban the company from importing the products in question.
