Ex-Wachovia VP Sues For Reverse Gender Bias

Law360, New York (August 4, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A former Wachovia Corp. vice president and assistant general counsel has sued his former employer on charges of reverse gender discrimination, alleging that his female boss treated him differently than she did his female co-workers and ultimately fired him because he was male.

Roman L. Helms filed the suit Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, charging Wachovia with violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and asking for $1 million in compensatory and punitive damages and...
