New Samsung DRAM Products Might Infringe: Rambus

Law360, New York (August 5, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Rambus Inc. has asked the judge in its ongoing dynamic random access memory patent cases against Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Micron Technology Inc. to compel the defendants to reveal information about their new DRAM products, which Rambus believes could infringe its patents.

Rambus filed the motion Monday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, claiming that the new products could possibly infringe the same patents at issue in its ongoing patent suits against Samsung and Micron, which were filed in 2005....
