PTAB Nixes Bosch Tire Monitoring Patent In AIA Review

Law360, New York (May 6, 2015, 4:44 PM EDT) -- The Patent Trial and Appeal Board on Tuesday said that vehicle diagnostic company Autel US Inc. has shown that a Bosch Automotive Service Solutions LLC patent for a tire monitoring system is invalid as anticipated or obvious.

Autel and its unit Autel Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd. filed a petition for an inter partes review of U.S. Patent No. 6,904,796, entitled “Remote Tire Monitoring Systems Tool,” which is owned by Bosch.
