Raymour & Flanigan Hit With Retaliation, Discrimination Suit

Law360, New York (May 12, 2015, 4:49 PM EDT) -- A former Raymour & Flanigan employee sued the furniture store chain Monday claiming she was fired in retaliation for sales drops during a protected medical leave and for complaining about a co-worker's racist comments and alleging race and national origin discrimination.

In a complaint filed in Delaware federal court, Shirley Fausey said managers at the store in Wilmington where she had worked for nearly a decade cited "performance issues" when they fired her late last year.
