Environmental Attys. Optimistic About Future: Survey

Law360, New York (August 8, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Environmental lawyers at the 250 largest firms in the U.S. are better-paid than many of their peers and tend to have an enthusiastic view of their chances for advancement, a Law360 survey has shown.

A total of 144 environmental lawyers responded to the survey, 40 percent of whom reported earning more than $300,000 a year. Only securities and energy lawyers had a greater percentage of lawyers who reported earning that much, at 45 percent each. Employment lawyers are the least well-paid, the survey found, with only...
