Federal Circuit Dismisses Appeal For Attorneys' Fees

Law360, New York (May 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Citing lack of jurisdiction, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has dismissed an appeal related to attorneys’ fees after it vacated the lower court’s patent invalidity ruling and remanded the case.

The Federal Circuit on Friday dismissed Revolution Eyewear Inc.’s appeal over the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California’s ruling that ordered the company to pay Aspex Eyewear Inc. more than $256,000 in attorneys’ fees.
