Judge Tosses Claims From Professor's Bias Suit

Law360, New York (August 11, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A lawsuit filed by a North Carolina university professor who alleged he was discriminated against in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks has been stripped of the majority of its claims but can proceed to trial.

North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University engineering professor Mohammad Reza Salami, who is representing himself, was given the go-ahead by Judge James Beaty Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of North Carolina to pursue four of his 15 claims.
