SEC Commissioner Announces Intention To Leave

Law360, New York (May 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After a little over four years of service, Securities and Exchange Commissioner Cynthia A. Glassman announced on Monday that she intends to leave the SEC after the completion of her current term.

Glassman did not set a specific date for her departure. Though her term ends on June 5, 2006, Commissioners have been known to remain on the Commission for up to 18 months beyond the term’s completion if a replacement isn’t found.
