J.L. French Moves Closer To Emerging From Chapter 11

Law360 (May 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- J.L. French Automotive Castings Inc. moved one step closer to exiting Chapter 11 bankruptcy on schedule when a judge signed off on an order approving its disclosure plan Friday.

“It means we are on track with our plans to emerge from bankruptcy this June,” said Tim Kellner, J.L. French’s vice president of human resources, of the disclosure plan’s approval.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Mary Walrath’s endorsement of the disclosure plan gives J.L. French the green light to begin trying to muster support for its reorganization plan....
