E-Discovery Industry Hot And Getting Hotter: Survey

Law360, New York (August 12, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Electronic discovery might still be a relatively small component of the overall discovery process but the industry is poised for expansion, according to survey results that say the e-discovery market grew 43% between 2006 and 2007 and is set to increase another 20% this year.

The 2008 Socha-Gelbmann 6th Annual Electronic Discovery Survey, released earlier this month, covers trends in the electronic discovery field as indicated by providers, corporations and law firms.

According to the survey, top-tier e-discovery companies pulled revenues of $1.171 billion in 2007....
