Kickback Probe Prompts Departure Of Milberg Partners

Law360 (May 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As federal regulators edge closer to handing down an indictment in the investigation into whether plaintiffs firm Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman paid kickbacks to clients, two Milberg partners implicated in the case, David Bershad and Steven Schulman, have left the firm.

In February, prosecutors reportedly told Schulman and Bershad that they will be indicted for their alleged role in the scheme.
