Microsoft Asserts Patents Against Lucent

Law360 (May 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In the latest round in a patent fight that’s been ongoing since 2002, Microsoft Corp. has fired back at Lucent Technologies, denying wrongdoing on its part while accusing Lucent of infringing on 10 Microsoft patents.

In its complaint, filed March 28, Lucent claimed that Microsoft infringed on U.S. Patent No. 5,227,878 when it produced and sold its X-Box video game player.
